Happy Mothers Day! This brought a lump to my throat.
 
We are now "Mother" to a new filly...born Tuesday night sometime between 8pm to midnight...we gave up for a few hours and our mare delivered without us...the baby is healthy and a beautiful. Palomino  or buckskin...very light color right now, but has some dark markings & may still turn mane, tail & leg markings dark, like a buckskin...or may stay a palomino...according to the vet.

I am "imprinting"...touching...holding the little leggy thing to get it accustomed to human touch. What fun to be a mother with no diapers!!  Any ideas for names?? Come see her, if you like! Bring your horse-loving kids!
